Mari

Upholsterer & Owner

Mari is a fully qualified upholsterer who has been in the industry for 10 years. She started her apprenticeship along side Patrick Navascues from Navascues Upholstery in Preston.

There she learnt many aspects of upholstery including recovering of Antiques and custom made jobs for stage shows.
From there she moved to Creswick wanting to be closer to family. Mari completed her apprenticeship under the leadership of Chris and Angelo Christofi from Buttoning Upholstery in Ballarat. She continued to work with the Cypriot brothers until they retired in December 2017. When the brothers retired Mari launched her own business.

Meredith previously worked office jobs but wanted a job that was more creative.

Meredith has a great attention to detail and a passion for vintage furniture.

Meredith received Upholstery third year apprentice of the year 2023.
