Some of our key initiatives are

'Green Glue'

The glue most upholsterers use is highly toxic for both the environment and the user. The glue we use called TensorGrip' prides themselves on their sustainability. They produce low VOC products, use recycled materials in all their packaging and their products are all no waste.

Using all off cuts

We reuse all of our offcuts of leather and fabric to make smaller items such as shopping bags or filling for draft stoppers. This is a great way of letting our apprentices practice their sewing and save a lot of smaller fabric offcuts from going to Landfill.

Timber

Majority of timber used is recycled or ply and try to limit using MDF

Recycling Furniture

We save a lot of quality furniture from landfill to restore and find new owners. You can find some of these pieces in the shop.
